Our Curriculum

Learning from A Montessori Perspective

In the vital early years of childhood, the groundwork for a lifetime of discovery and personal growth is laid.

At Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre, we embrace these formative years with a deep understanding of their importance in the development of a child's personality and fundamental life skills. Our goal is to construct a Montessori framework that fosters not only confidence and independence in children but also cultivates a robust foundation for all future learning.

The Montessori Curriculum

The Montessori curriculum at Beenleigh is broad and diverse, covering five key areas: Sensorial, Practical Life, Language, Culture, and Mathematics.

Each area is tailored to introduce fundamental concepts in a manner that resonates with children under the age of six. Through Sensorial activities, children refine their senses and learn to appreciate the nuances of the world around them. Practical Life exercises instil skills that foster independence and a sense of responsibility. Our Language curriculum encourages early literacy and communication skills, setting the stage for effective expression and comprehension. Cultural lessons offer a window into the diverse tapestry of the world's traditions and social customs, promoting respect and understanding. Lastly, our approach to Mathematics lays the foundation for numerical proficiency and logical thinking.

By integrating these core areas into our daily routine, Beenleigh Montessori ensures a well-rounded education that supports the developmental needs of each child.

We invite families to join us in this enriching educational journey, to witness first-hand the Montessori difference in nurturing young minds.

"The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind."
